Physical and System Security
The CRM-service data is always physically located in top-tier data centers in Finland, in which the data is protected against both the actions of man and threats of nature.
The security of the system and services are ensured "from head to toe", including firewalls, IAM and so on. All data is backed up daily to another data center premise and kept safe for 30 days. The data is transmitted across encrypted links.
We have started the preparations for the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, will apply from 25 May 2018) well in advance, and we help our customers to do the same.
As the GDPR stipulates, CRM-service Oy and the customer must agree on a Data Processing Agreement, which specifies e.g. who is responsible for different kinds of data processed in the CRM-service and the defined model of the support service. Other important matters are, among others, the customers' responsibility for documentation, transfer of personal data and right to be forgotten.
